Description: APARTMENTMAN/ Find Art in Your New Renovated Kitchen, 2 Bathrooms Views of Boston! <br /> <br />As cub reporter for the Boston Oval, JOHNNY BORING arrives at his destination. HIS ASSIGNMENT- to go on tours of homes throughout Boston to view renovated kitchens. HIS GOAL- to take photos and write stories of the dangers confronting those who embark upon the daunting task of renovating kitchens. HIS HOPES-To capture the seriousness of those captains of the kitchens in deciding whether granite counters will serve them honorably in the battle of culinary warfare with their neighbors. Fully armed for his task, he rings the bell. Moments pass, then suddenly the door opens and the doyenne of the dinner table stands before him. After brief introductions, the tour begins. As he enters the kitchen, he is stunned by the racks of cookware suspended from the ceiling above. To the left are rows of cast iron utensils. To the right are glimmering lines of stainless steel pots and pans from around the world glimmering in their reflective, unsullied glory from the track lighting above. Before him is the Viking Oven, as poweful and functional as the Norsemen who lent it their name. The time flies by as the owner describes in minute detail the superiority of the cookware and the convection oven which now stands as a testament to the culinary efficiency of his tour guide. Exhausted, JOHNNY BORING collapses on the food preparation island in the middle of the room. He looks at his watch and realizes it is well past noon. An idea occurs. He summons up his courage and looking his tour guide in the eye presents his thoughts. <br /> <br />"How about if we have lunch here and I can take some photos of you preparing one of your favorite recipes in your kitchen?" <br /> <br />"Huh?" <br /> <br />"Well I thought it would be a great story to show you whipping up one of your mouth watering recipes using all the devices you've assembled in your domestic domain." <br /> <br />"But if I cook in these stainless steel pans they'll get dirty and the overhead lights won't reflect as well. Look, my kitchen and my utensils are art and I am the artist. They are a statement of who I am, my canvas. Would you want to spread grease on a Picasso? <br /> <br />" I guess not." <br /> <br />"Where do you cook ?" <br /> <br />"I don't cook silly, we just order out. That way everything stays so clean and shiney. Feel like ordering a pizza ?? We can eat it on my new imported Italian Ceramic Plates. <br /> <br />" Why not. Can I get it with Pesto on it ??" <br /> <br />"Of course. We can eat while reading the exploits of APARTMENTMAN in his search for new apartments. There's a new place he just found I absolutely loved. Here listen to this. " <br /> <br /> <br />DIMENSIONS/ DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT <br />You enter the apartment which is on the third floor of a three story brick building in Coolidge Corner and to the right is the hallway. (The hallway measures 24 ft x 5 ft and is all newly sanded and refinished hardwood. Actually the floors throughout the apartment are newly refinished hardwood floors) Down the hall to the left is the living room which measures 14 ft x 16 ft with two new windows that face North. There is a nice wood mantle with mirror in the room. Through the living room you enter the kitchen which measures 12 ft x 12 ft with all new wood cabinets/ dishwasher and ceramic tile along the back wall. (There are little sailing ship accent tiles for those of you who are fans of Herman Melville-just bear with me. ) To the right is the pantry area which measures 15. 5 ft x 5.5 ft. ( You can store the things your parents have sent you to eat since living in Boston has made it impossible for you to afford your own food.) The smaller of the bathrooms is off of the kitchen. (Don't ask me why it is there it just is-I guess you can give the chicken you are about to cook a shower.) This bathroom measures 5.5 ft x 5.5 ft with all new shower /sink/ vanity. The second bathroom is off of the main hallway and measures 8.5 ft x 5.5 ft with all new vanity/ sink/ shower. The three bedrooms are to the left of the entrance. The first bedroom measures 14 ft x 12 ft with 2 big windows and a smaller window that all face west. The second bedroom measures 14 ft x 13 ft and since it is a corner room has 4 windows. (Two windows face West and two windows face North). The third bedroom measures 13 ft x 13 ft with 2 windows which face North. The ceilings are 9.5 ft high. Steps from Trader Joe's and the T.
