Description: APARTMENTMAN(TM): SaveThe WhalesAndFindYouAnApartment!! <br /> <br /> Walking through Partial Foods, a local new age organic grocery store, JOHNNY BORING (TM) (the alter ego of APARTMENTMAN (TM) overhears a conversation between a mother and her precocious adolescent. <br /> <br />'Mom how come we come here to do our shopping.' <br /> <br /> 'Well, honey, Partial Foods is an environmentally aware and responsible organic grocery store. ' <br /> <br />'What does that mean ? ' <br /> <br /> 'Well sweetie, they do all they can to help protect the environment and not waste natural resources.' <br /> <br /> 'Wow, that's neat.' <br /> <br />'I think so too sweetie.' 'Would you mind handing mommy the milk in front of you. ' <br /> <br />'OK' Mom how come the milk is just sitting out here with the cold air blowing out all around it ?' <br /> <br />'Well it looks better sweetie.' 'When we walk down the aisles we can just see all the things they want us to buy.' <br /> <br /> 'Don't they waste a lot of energy keeping all these hallways cold ? ' <br /> <br /> 'Well, maybe honey, I hadn't really thought about it.' 'Oh.' Let's go to the checkout honey, mommy has to make the Save the Rain Forrest rally this afternoon.' <br /> <br />'OK.' <br /> <br />'Paper or plastic ?' <br /> <br />'Paper please.' <br /> <br />'Mommy how come you always ask for paper bags ?' 'Well, honey paper bags will go back to the earth and make good things for the earth, and plastic isn't as good for the earth.' <br /> <br />'Oh' 'Don't they make paper from trees mommy ?' <br /> <br />'Why yes honey.' <br /> <br /> 'Do they cut down the trees ? ' <br /> <br /> ' I suppose so honey.' <br /> <br />'They sure do use a lot of paper bags here mom.' <br /> <br /> 'Do you want your paper towels in this bag Mam ? ' <br /> <br />'Yes, please!' <br /> <br />'Mom do paper towels come from trees too ? ' <br /> <br /> 'Why, yes sweetie.' <br /> <br /> 'Is that why grandma washes those old towels she uses to wipe the dishes after dinner ?' <br /> <br />'What do you mean darling ?" <br /> <br /> ' Well grandma must figure that if she uses paper towels they will have to cut down lots of trees to make them so she just keeps using those same old towels to protect the trees. ' ' Don't you think so mom ?' <br /> <br />' Why honey look at that sign for an apartment for rent. ' <br /> <br /> 'Let's go look at it. ' <br /> <br />" How come mom ? ' <br /> <br /> 'Because mommy is sick and tired of answering your adorable little questions.' 'Let's read what the ad says about the apartment.' 'OK' <br /> <br /> <br /> DIMENSIONS/ DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT <br /> To the left as you enter is the living room which measures 18 ft x 18 ft with three (3) windows which face west. There is a separate room off of the living room which measures 14 ft x 9 ft and has sliding doors that allow you to close the room off as an office. (There is a closet in this room as well as a window that looks out across the lawn and onto another building-I know you would like a view of the Seine but this is the best I can do) The kitchen is an L-shaped kitchen which measures 12 ft x 8 ft (the long part of the kitchen where the stove is located) and 9 ft x 5 ft (the short part of the kitchen where the dishwasher is located). The bedroom measures 15 ft x 11 ft with 2 windows and a large walk in closet that measures 8 ft x 5 ft. The ceilings are 9.5 ft high. Steps from Trader Joe's and the T. Call ASAP to see.
